The Spain Park Gridiron Club is pleased to televise the replay of each week's game on WIAT on Wednesday's at 8:00 p.m. We believe that our broadcast team is the best in the state and it is certainly well known in the Birmingham area. Our play by play announcer is Landrum Roberts and he is joined by Chris Simma, who does the filming and editing. They are joined by Joe Rieves, who is doing color. We appreciate the support of our sponsors that enable us to provide this coverage throughout the year.

Landrum Roberts enters his eighth season of play by play for the Spain Park network. Roberts has both on and off the field experience having played as a defensive end in high school at Homewood and as a student sports anchor at the Auburn University television station. Having earned his degree in Radio, Television, and Film, Roberts went on to work for Sports Radio 690, WJOX producing such shows as the "Sonny and Wimp Show" and "Calling all Sports" with Eli Gold. Roberts has also cohosted "The Jox Roundtable" and done play by play for the SEC Baseball Tournament.

Currently, Roberts resides in Hoover with his wife Helen. We are proud to have Landrum on our team.
